I’ve been a florist for the past 10 years. I know flowers. I love designing and bringing joy to people and spaces with blooms. But running a business? That’s a whole other world—one I’m still learning to navigate.
Last year, a few unexpected opportunities came my way, including pop-up markets. To be honest, I wasn’t actively looking for them, but I was hopeful and decided to go for it. I thought it would be a great way to promote my studio, connect with potential clients, and build a community.
At one of these markets, I met Steph from @goddessrosejewelry. We didn’t have much time to chat, but I recognized her from Instagram and knew we’d both be attending another market.

At that next event, she made an impact. We had the chance to talk more, and I got to know her and her business. Steph is genuine, caring, and has an incredible eye for aesthetics. She’s also fun to be around—her energy is contagious!
Her collection is extensive, featuring rings, necklaces, bracelets, and anklets, along with accessories like hair clips, makeup pouches, and even some clothing. You can shop for ready-made pieces or create your own custom designs.

When I attended those pop-up markets, I had no idea that a year later, I’d be writing about Steph and her beautiful brand, Goddess Rose Design. I never expected to feel so genuinely excited and invested in other people’s success. It’s amazing how a business connection—or even a simple social media relationship—can have such a meaningful impact.
The businesses I’m featuring in this series are ones I’ve been following for a long time. Watching them grow, put themselves out there, and pivot when needed has been truly inspiring.
